A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 3/4/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A total of 21 children were present with 3 caregivers. The children were engaged in the following: playing with legos, reading, playing card games, doing arts and crafts, and other organized activities. Programming, menus, emergency procedures and drills, 3 medications, and 3 children?s records and 3 staff records were reviewed. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the Violation Notice.

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-580-F Description: Based on record review, not all staff who work directly with children have documentation of current CPR certification. Evidence: 1. Staff #3 does not have documentation of current CPR certification. Plan of Correction: Staff #3 relocated a copy of CPR and it has been placed in file with certifications.
