Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 03/12/19 to review supplemental health and safety requirements.
Licensing Inspector arrived at 8:45am and departed at 11:00am to conduct a Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection. At the time of the tour there were 31 children in care with 6 staff present. A sample of 4 children and 2 staff records were reviewed in addition to 1 medication. Children were observed during group time, learning the alphabet and playing musical chairs. There was 1 child in care with a diagnosed food allergy.

A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.

Description: Based on a record review the vendor did not ensure all required procedures were included in the emeregency plans. Evidence: The Vendor did not have a written procedure to address the continuity of operations that in the event of an emergency, the essential functions of the center are maintained.

Plan of Correction: The following corrective action was provided by the director during the exit interview: The vendor will develop a procedure to address the continuity of operations that in the event of an emergency.
