A Subsidy Health and Safety inspections was conducted on 03/20/2019 from 11:00A.M. to 4:30 P.M. to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the time of the inspection 41 children were in care with twelve staff, one office administrator, and one administrator. Five children records, five staff records, four injury reports, emergency plan, evacuation drills, first aid kits, emergency supplies, playground, and posted required information was reviewed. Children were observed during storytime, handwashing, lunchtime, transition to naptime, behavioral guidance, infant interactions, naptime, snack, and afternoon center play. School Age children were observed in an activity with Master Gardener's. They were turning soil and preparing to have it sent off for testing. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
