Thank you for your assistance during today's unannounced renewal inspection conducted from 12:39 PM to 2:15 PM at the office and from 2:45 PM to 6:00 PM at the school site. Today, there were twenty-six children, ages five through eleven years, with three to four staff. It was reported that twenty-four children were supervised by two staff before school. I viewed program activities, equipment, staffing, supervision, interactions with children, posted information, emergency planning, written policies/procedures, agency inspection reports, insurance, emergency supplies and drill records, medication, five records for children, five staff records, background checks for agency representatives, staff qualifications, staff training, snack, nutrition, daily routines, indoor and outdoor areas. The children were provided time for active play outdoors, and indoor group activity, choices for table activities, and homework time. Staff were seen providing frequent interactions with children and adequate supervision during group experiences and transitions. No violations with minimum standards. Let me know if you have any questions. 540/430-9259
