An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today, 3/7/19. Upon arrival to the center the children were busy cleaning up from center play. The classes then went outside at their appointed times and upon entering the center they began to prepare for lunch. Table sanitizing, hand washing and lunch was also observed. Lunch met USDA requirements and the children had plenty of food if they wanted seconds. Medications were also reviewed. A review of children's records was conducted. A review of staff records was also conducted. Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. Inspection began: 11:30 am and ended 1:20 pm.

Standard #: 63.2(17)-1721.1-B-2 Description: Based on review of records the center did not have all board member holding an office submit to fingerprint based national criminal background checks. Evidence: 1. Board officer #1 does not have a current fingerprint based national criminal background check on file. Plan of Correction: Background checks have been scheduled. The director will monitor all new board officer appointments and ensure that all background checks are completed within the set time frames.
