An unannounced inspection was conducted today between approximately 11:20am and 2:10pm in response to a self reported incident. Not enough evidence was available to support the claim. In addition, a monitoring inspection was conducted. 114 children were directly supervised by 16 staff members. 9 children's records, 5 staff records, evacuation drills, injury reports, 5 medications, attendance records and required posted documents were reviewed. Children were observed finishing lunch (sloppy joe's, rolls, carrots/peas, peaches and milk), reading, preparing for nap and interacting in small groups. The school age children were present; Loudoun County Public Schools were closed for a teacher work day. Infants were observed doing tummy time and sleeping. Hand washing and diapering procedures were also observed. The rooms were well organized and contained an abundance of age appropriate materials. No violations were cited today. For questions regarding this inspection, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
A compliance history is in no way a rating for a facility.
The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.
