A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 04/01/19 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Licensing Inspector arrived at 8:45am to conduct a Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection. At the time of the tour there were 26 children in care with 2 staff present. The preschool children in the group were escorted to their public school classrooms while the school-age children continued to go through the meal line before the public school day began. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-770-B-5 Description: Based on a record review the vendor did not ensure there was a procedure that addressed the continuity of operations to ensure that essential functions are maintained during an emergency. Plan of Correction: The following corrective action was given by the program director during the interview: The organization is in the process of developing this procedure for the program.
