An unannounced complaint inspection was conducted on April 1, 2019 from approximately 7:45 A.M.-11:45 A.M. in regards to a concern reported to the Valley Licensing Office on 03/21/2019 and on 03/28/2019. Six staff records and four children records were reviewed, seven staff members were interviewed, and four ready, set, go assessment forms were reviewed. The information gathered during the investigation does not support the allegation, so the allegation is determined to be "not valid". There were two violations cited not related to the allegation. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-500-A Complaint related: No Description: Based on observation, the center did not ensure that staff wash their hands with soap and running water after any contact with body fluids, and before feeding or helping children with feeding. Evidence: In the Two Year Old Classroom Staff #6 was observed assisting a child wipe their nose. After Staff #6 wiped the child's nose she did not wash her hands. Staff #6 went over to the counter and started assisting Staff #1 with serving breakfast. She picked up two sippy cups and moved them to the table.
