An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted with the site director beginning at 7:40 and ending at 8:55 AM in conjunction with a licensing monitoring inspection. There were forty-nine children in the care of five staff members. The children's ages ranged between five through eleven years old. The children were observed cleaning up and preparing to transition to the cafeteria for breakfast. The children were observed eating breakfast which consisted of ham and cheese croissant or cold cereal and nurti-grain bar, sweet potato fries, and orange juice. Ten children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Three staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Three allergy care plans were reviewed and in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance. The most recent lockdown drill was documented as 1/11/19. The most recent fire inspection was dated 8/2/17.
