The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety inspection on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 11:00am to 1:30pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The children were observed eating lunch and resting on cots. All classrooms, the playground and van were inspected today. Five children?s records and five employee records were reviewed during this inspection. Medication is being administered and was reviewed. The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected. Last emergency drill: 04/24/2019 Last shelter-in-place drill: 04/24/2019 Total enrollment today: 57 Today, the following child to staff ratios were observed: Infants ?4:1 Toddlers ?5:1 Twos ? 15:2 Threes-9:1 Young Fours ?10:1 Pre-K ?14:2 School Age ? not present A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
