An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 3:20pm - 5:30pm. There were 58 children directly supervised by 4 staff. The physical plant, 5 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Staff files were reviewed on an earlier date through the County of Loudoun, Department of Parks, Recreation, and Community Services main office. Children were observed participating in group play, playing board games, doing crafts, playing, electronic games, and playing outside. The cafeteria was found to be clean, safeguarded appropriately, and adequately supplied with equipment and supplies. Areas of non-compliance are identified on the Violation Notice. Evidence: The time and date when parents were notified and future actions to prevent recurrence of the injury were not documented on three of five injury records reviewed.
