An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on May 28 2019 between 10:30am and 12:30pm. There were 53 children in the direct care of 12 staff members. Children were observed having tummy time, creating an art mural, potty training, washing hands, building, and participating in Spanish class. The center is clean and offers age appropriate materials in each classroom. Areas of non-compliance are listed on the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-550-D Description: Based on observation, the center did not implement a monthly practice evacuation drill. Evidence: The center has documented a shelter-in-place and a lockdown drill in March of 2019. An evacuation drill was not practiced during March. Plan of Correction: I will do it every month moving forward.
