Standard #: 22VAC40-185-240-C Description: Based on review of 3 of 3 staff records and staff interviews, the licensee did not ensure that program directors and staff who work directly with children shall annually attend 16 hours of staff development activities that shall be related to child safety and development and the function of the center. Evidence: The record for staff #3 only included 15 hours of annual training and not the required 16 hours. The Program Coordinator confirmed there was only 15 hours available to review. Plan of Correction: We will ensure staff members get proper training hours.
