An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted in the center on April 12, 2019. As reported, 62 children are currently enrolled in the program. There were 29 children present, the children were observed in 2 groups. The children were observed during free play. The children were also observed playing kick ball in the gym. Two staff were supervising each group. Medications were observed in the center. A sample of 5 children's records were reviewed. Two partial staff records were reviewed. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-540-E Description: Based on inspection and staff report, the center did not have a working, battery-operated flashlight on the second floor. Plan of Correction: Staff will obtain extra batteries for the flash light.
