Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conduced on June 5 2019 between 12:30pm and 2:15pm. The inspection was conducted during the schools nap time. Classrooms were properly staffed. The center offers age-appropriate materials for the children in each room. The center is clean, organized, and offers plenty of space for the children. Standard #: 63.2(17)-1720.1-B-3
Description: Based on record review, 1 of 7 staffing records reviewed did not contain documentation of the results of a search of the central registry maintained by any other state in which the individual has resided in the preceding five years. Evidence: Staff #7 resided outside the state of Virginia within the last 5 years per staff interview.

Plan of Correction: Background checks were mailed in December upon hire. Results were not received. Digital copies were requested upon licensing inspection.
