A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on July 10, 2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This on-site visit was conducted from 10:50 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. There were forty-eight children in the care of eight staff in three classrooms. The medication and medication paperwork was reviewed for five children. Five children's and nine staff records were reviewed and updated. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. Areas observed : free choice activities, hand washing/diapering procedures, movement, lunch and nap. Interactions between the children and staff were observed as appropriate and the children seem comfortable with the daily routine and schedule.
