A Subsidy Health and Safety monitoring inspection was conducted on 8/2/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This inspection began at 11:15am and ended at 2:00pm. There were 8 staff with 34 children in 4 classrooms at the time of the visit. At the start of the inspection, children were observed playing outside, washing hands, eating lunch (pancakes, sausage patties, mandarin oranges and milk) and napping. Children's files, emergency preparedness procedures, fire drill log were reviewed. The physical plant and playground were inspected. There were no medications on site at this time; 1 medication was on a field trip with a group of campers. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Thank you for your cooperation today.
