Standard #: 22VAC40-665-580-B
Description: Based on record review, within the first 90 days of employment staff who work directly with children did not complete Virginia Preservice Training for Child Care Staff. Evidence: Staff #1 (DOH: 1/22/19) and Staff #4 (DOH: 4/2/19) does not have documentation of completing the Preservice training.

Plan of Correction: I'll have them get it to me if they've already done it and if they haven't yet they'll have to do the training.

The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.
