An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted with the director on August 06, 2019 beginning at 2:35 PM and ending at 4:30 PM. There were forty-eight children, ages eight months through ten years old, in the care of seven staff members. One infant was observed sleep a crib. One infant was observed playing with manipulatives, and two were being fed snack by the staff. The older children were observed eating snack which consisted of avocado slices, corn loaf, and water. The children were also observed playing with blocks and cars and coloring. Bathroom/diapering procedures and hand washing were observed and in compliance. Six children's records and five staff records were reviewed and in compliance. The outside play area and two buses were inspected and in compliance. Three medications were reviewed and in compliance. The emergency drill log was reviewed and in compliance. The most recent emergency evacuation drill was documented as 7/25/2019. The most recent shelter-in-place drill was documented as 6/20/2019. The most recent health inspection was dated 4/1/2019. The most recent fire inspection was dated 9/13/2018.
