Technical assistance was offered regarding emergency drills.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 10:40 am-11:45am. There were a total of 15 children in care of 12 staff members present. 14 children were observed leaving on a field trip with 10 staff members. 1 child was observed with 2 staff members at the listening to a story read by the staff. 4 rooms that were being used during the summer were inspected. 4 children's records and 3 staff records were reviewed. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-60-A Description: Based on record review, the center did not update children's records annually. Evidence: Child # 1's date of enrollment was 9/2014. The most recent update for Child # 1 was completed on 11/1/17. There were no additional updates done after that date. Plan of Correction: We will get the update done today.
