Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 08/07/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 68 children, ages 2 months-10 years, and 9 staff members present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed 6 children's records, 6 staff records and 3 medications during the inspection. The children were observed in the following activities: having breakfast, participating in free choice activities, participating in a science project, and going outside to play. Proper hand washing and table sanitization were also observed. The inspector reviewed the outdoor playground, the emergency preparedness plans and the emergency supplies during the inspection. The inspector discussed the following with the staff: subsidy requirements, playground requirements, medication/over-the-counter skin products, sheltering-in-place and children?s behavior. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection.
