An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today, 8/13/2019. Upon arrival to the center the children were outside playing on the playground. When the rain started the children came inside and prepared for lunch. Hand washing and nap time was also observed. There are 11 children in care ranging in age from 10 months to four years, with six staff and one kitchen staff. A review of children and staff records was also conducted. Should you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me. Inspection began: 10:30 am ended 1:20 pm.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-270-A Description: Based on observation the center did not maintain all rooms in a safe condition. Evidence: 1. The playroom area has paint peeling off the walls. These areas are accessible to the children. Plan of Correction: Staff will report this to the main office and place a maintenance request to have this area repaired.
