The inspector conducted an unannounced mandated inspection from 10:30 a.m. until 1:10 p.m. There were 57 children in care ages infant-school-age with staff supervising at all times. Children were observed playing inside and outside, coming back in from the pool, eating lunch, and napping. Five children's records and five staff records were reviewed. Violations from the last inspection had been corrected. Violations are identified on the violation notice. Please call your inspector at 276-698-9981 with any questions.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-270-A Description: Based on observation, the center did not maintain the center, inside and outside in a safe condition. Evidence: 1. The inspector observed: a four inch metal spike being used as a gate stopper outside between the playgrounds, a t.v. that was not secured, and a bolt missing on the playground equipment. Plan of Correction: The director will fix all of the equipment.
