Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 7:15am-8:40am. There were 42 children directly supervised by 4 staff. The physical plant, programming, menus, 4 staff records, 5 children?s records, 8 medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed doing puzzles, coloring, learning about the moon and playing silent speed ball. Positive interactions between children and staff and nice transitions between activities were observed during this inspection. There was an abundant supply of age appropriate materials for the children and the center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact me at morgan.bryson1@dss.virginia.gov.
