A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted today from 6:55am to 8:00am to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A total of 12 children were present with 3 staff. The children were engaged in the following: coloring, playing board games, playing with legos and blocks, and engaging in other tabletop activities. Programming, menus, emergency procedures, and 6 children's records and 3 staff records were reviewed.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
