Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 09.24.19 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Licensing Inspector conduct a Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection between the hours of 8:00am and 9:00am. At the time of the tour there were 33 children in care with 3 staff present. Children were observed cleaning-up from an activity to prepare to go to class. The children were also observed in-line to get their breakfast. A sample of 3 staff and 3 children's records were reviewed, in addition to 3 medications. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.

Description: Based on a record review and interview, the vendor did not ensure all required components were included in the emergency preparedness plan.
Evidence:
The director gave the inspector the emergency preparedness binder containing the vendor's emergency plan. The plan did not include a reunification procedure or address the continuity of operations procedures to ensure that essential functions are maintained
during an emergency. The Director confirmed she was unable to locate it in the binder and was not sure if there were such plans.

Plan of Correction: The following corrective action was provided by the vendor during the exit interview:
The director will follow-up with the district manager to obtain all required procedures and policies and ensure they are included in the emergency plan.
