A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 09.24.19 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced inspection was conducted between the hours of 8:00am and 9:00am. to conduct a Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection. At the time of the tour there were 33 children in care with 25 staff present. Children were observed preparing to get breakfast and then taken to their classrooms. A sample of 3 children and 3 staff records were reviewed, in addition to 3 medications.
A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.

Description: Based on a record review and interview, the vendor did not ensure the written emergency preparedness plan had the required components.
Evidence: The director was not able to find the vendor's Procedures to address reuniting children with a parent or an authorized person designated by the parent to pick up the child or the continuity of operations procedures to ensure that essential functions are maintained during an emergency. The director had the emergency book, however confirmed the procedures were not included.

Plan of Correction: The following corrective action was provided by the vendor during the exit interview:
The director will obtain these procedures from corporate and ensure they are included n the emergency plans.
