63.2(17) License & Registration Procedures
An unannounced Monitoring Inspection was conducted on October 4, 2019 from approximately 12:28 pm until 3:30 pm. Upon entrance there were 22 children and eight staff present with children. The record review sample consisted of five children's records and five staff records. Children were observed during nap time and leaving the program. Eight medications were reviewed. The outdoor playground areas were inspected. The results of the inspection were reviewed and verified with the Center Coordinator during the exit interview.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-160-C Description: Based on record review, in one of five staff records reviewed, the licensee did not ensure that staff resubmit TB test results every two years.
Evidence: The Director confirmed that the most recent TB screening results for Staff #5 was dated 9/20/17.
Plan of Correction: We emailed our nurse and she will come and do the screening.
