Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted between the hours of 9:30 am-12:30pm. At the time of entrance, 55 children were in care with 15 staff members present. Children were observed participating in a science project, creating art work, reciting letters, participating in free play, and performing yoga. The children were actively engaged in activities and interacted positively with staff. A selection of 5 staff and 5 children records, the physical space, emergency supplies, evacuation drills, and attendance records were reviewed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. Please contact me if you have any questions at jessica.willis@dss.virginia.gov or 571-352-1453.
