Technical Assistance:
Discussed: Two shelter-in-place drills are required each year in addition to monthly fire drills.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 5:30 - 6:15 pm. There were 16 children, ranging in age from five years to ten years of age, present with two staff supervising. The children were observed playing in various centers including games, building and Barbie Dolls. Four children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Two staff records were reviewed offsite at the Massad central office on 9/16/18. The last emergency escape drill was conducted 9/12/19. Four emergency medications and authorization forms were reviewed. Three accident/incident reports were reviewed and in compliance. Description: Based on review of four medications, the center did not have written authorization to administer medication to a child in care. Evidence: there was no written authorization from a parent or physician to administer four medications.

Plan of Correction: Will obtain written authorizations from parent.
