Thank you for your assistance during this unannounced monitoring inspection. This on-site visit was conducted on October 22, 2019 from 11:10 a.m. through 12:30 p.m. There were twenty-three children in the care five staff in three classrooms. No medication is being administered at the present. Five children and five staff records were reviewed and updated. Areas of non-compliance may be found on the violation notice.
Areas observed were: lunch, transition, infant feeding, and nap. Interactions between the children and staff were observed as positive and the children seemed comfortable with their daily routine and schedule.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-450-A Description: Based on observation the center did not have bottom linens for two children on cots.
Evidence: 1. Sixteen children were observed during nap time. 2. Children were observed not having bottom linens on their cots.
3. The director confirmed the children did not have bottom linens.Plan of Correction: Parents will be asked to furnish bottom linens for cots. The center will also have additional linens available in case children forget to bring bottom linens.
