Discussion was held on the topics of current enrollment, current staffing, and facility. Discussion of status of renewal application. Staff stated that this documentation was sent in last week.
The following inspection took place between the hours of 8:30 am through 10:30 am. Today, I met with the Staff of the Claude Moore Recreation and Community Center located in Sterling, Virginia. At the start of this unannounced renewal inspection there were a total of 15 children observed with 3 staff; good ratio for this one room. A total of 5 children were reviewed. Staff files shall be reviewed on a later date. The children were engaged in the following: Preschool Fall Fest; where the children attended an onsite hayride, outdoor fall games & center activities, to culminate in an outdoor trick-or-treat adventure in the onsite forest. These outdoor activities were set up and supervised by staff. In addition, the children's parents were invited to attend. One room, Room #4 will have their fest tomorrow. Room #4 were engaged in art, games, learning, imaginative play, and other center activities. If you should have any future questions, please call or send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you.
