A discussion on staff records for re-hire and criminal background checks for new board members.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today approximately 11:20 am- 2:00 pm. There were 77 children supervised by 12 direct care staff. The physical plant, 4 staff records, 4 children?s records, 4 board members, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. The playground and surfacing were inspected.
10 children?s and 10 staff records, caregiver training, children?s nutrition, supplies, and drills were inspected. The children were observed participating musical movement, group center, and playing outside on the playground. There were age appropriate materials for all children.
Staff-to-child ratios were in compliance. No violations were cited during the inspection.
