A Subsidy Health and Safety inspections was conducted on 11/05/2019 from 4:15 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the time of the inspection 10 children were in care with one staff and one site manager. Five children records, three staff records, emergency evacuations, first aid kits, injury prevention plan, health inspection, fire inspection, emergency plan, and posted required information was reviewed. Children were observed during transition from the playground to the cafeteria, handwashing, small group activities that included card games, building, electronics, gross motor time in the gym, and departure. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. There were no violations noted during the inspection.
