Health and Safety inspection was conducted from 11:30am through 1:30pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 9 children in care with two staff. Children present ranged in age from three to five years old. Children were observed in teacher and self-directed activities.
A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-780-A-3 Description: Based on record review and interview the vendor failed to ensure that lockdown procedures are practiced at least annually. Plan of Correction: Going forward center management will schedule, conduct and document no less than one lockdown practice drill within a year.
