Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 2:45pm -4:25pm. There were 59 children directly supervised by 5 staff. The physical plant, 9 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Staff files were reviewed on an earlier date through the County of Loudoun, Department of Parks, Recreation, and Community Services main office. Children were observed participating in group play, reading books, working on their homework, coloring, playing with Legos, working on crosswords and math worksheets, playing in the gym and eating snack. Today's snack consisted of Cheez-it crackers and CapriSun-Fruit Punch 100%Juice. The cafeteria was found to be clean, safeguarded appropriately, and adequately supplied with equipment and supplies. There were no violations observed during today's inspection.
