An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 4:00pm to 5:45pm with program staff. There were 20 children in care, ranging from five to eleven years of age, supervised by two staff. The children were observed playing board games, coloring, painting a fall picture, and playing legos. Snack today was turkey and cheese on whole wheat rolls with water. Five children?s records and two staff records were reviewed and were in compliance. The Center has two staff with current certification in CPR and First Aid, and in Daily Health Observation. One medication and authorization form were reviewed and were in compliance and the center has two staff with current certification in Medication Administration Training (MAT). The attendance and emergency drill log were reviewed and were in compliance. The last documented evacuation drill and shelter-in-place drill were dated 10/28/19. The first aid kit, flashlight, and battery operated radio were observed and in compliance.
