An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from approximately 9:30am-11:40 am. There were 47 children (Preschool age ) directly supervised by 10 staff. The physical plant, 5 staff records, 5 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed making turkeys by painting their hands, playing outside, and eating snack while celebrating a students' birthday. There was an adequate supply of materials for the children. There was an adequate number of staff with current certification in MAT, CPR and First Aid, as well as DHO training. Staff-to-child ratios were in compliance. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Evidence: During inspection Child 1 and 2 were missing 1 of 2 parent work phone numbers.Plan of Correction: I will talk with the parents to get the information.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-280-B Description: Based on observation it was determined that cleaning material were not kept in a locked place
Evidence: During inspection in the Blocks room bleach was observed on top of the cubbies outside of a locked cabinet.Plan of Correction: Teacher were reminded of proper storage during inspection
