Comments:
An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted today from 7:00am to 8:10am in conjunction with a monitoring inspection (see that inspection report for details). The two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Two staff records were reviewed for documentation of the mandatory Virginia Preservice Training and current certification in First Aid and CPR and were in compliance. Staff were aware of children's allergies and had a current allergy list. The records for three children with diagnosed food allergies were reviewed for allergy care plans and were in compliance. The last lockdown drill was documented on 11/25/2019. If you have questions regarding this inspection, please contact the Licensing Inspector, Laura Brindle, at laura.brindle@dss.virginia.gov or 540-905-2062.

A compliance history is in no way a rating for a facility.

The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.
