Center management was reminded that they cannot administer expired medication; management was encouraged to obtain new medication for a child who has a food allergy with an expired medication observed on-site.
Today an unannounced Monitoring Inspection took place between the hours of 1:15pm and 2:35pm. At the start of the inspection there were a total of 10 children with 2 staff; all ratios were incompliance. Additionally, there is private kindergarten, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade classes taking place in the same building. A total of 5 children's files and 3 staff files were reviewed. Evidence: Child #2's file did not contain addresses for 2 out of 2 of their emergency contacts.

Standard #: 22VAC40-80-120-E-2 Description: Based on observation, the findings of the most recent inspection of the facility were not posted.
Evidence: The Violation Notice of the most recent inspection is not posted anywhere at the facility. When asked, center management found the most recent Violation Notice from a file in a drawer.
Plan of Correction: We posted the correct copy.
