Ratios were in compliance. Staff and children were observed during snack time, engaged in group activities like circle time, story reading, and clean up, as well as working in centers doing painting, drawing, tracing letters and numbers, and observing rocks. School age children were observed while recording a movie. The site was clean, organized and contained a varied supply of developmentally appropriate materials. A selection of staff and children records, the physical space, emergency supplies, evacuation drills, attendance records, required posted documents, medications and the Emergency Preparedness Plan were reviewed.
