A subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted today with the director, who was present with 2 additional staff and 10 children at the end of the inspection. One child had a diagnosed food allergy. The center was up to date with their annual lock down drill.

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-500-F Description: Based on a review of the allergy/ dietary restriction/ sensitivity list, it was determined that child A's tree nut allergy was not listed. Plan of Correction: We will add this allergy to the list.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-500-E Description: Based on interview and a review of the allergy/sensitivity/dietary restriction list, it was determined that child A has a tree nut allergy but the staff were not aware of this. Plan of Correction: We will make sure to capture all allergies on the list and then inform staff.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-520-B-11 Description: Based on a review of 10 children's files,it was determined that one child (A) had a diagnosed food allergy ( tree nuts) however there was no allergy plan on site. Plan of Correction: We will get the allergy plan.
