A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 2/10/2020 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the time of inspectors' arrival there were 8 infant to preschool aged children in care with 2 staff members and 1 administrator. Children were observed participating in nap, lunch, transitioning between activities, and toileting and hand washing. A sample of 5 children's records and 5 staff records were reviewed. Injury reports were also reviewed. The Director reported that no medications are being administered at this time. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Areas of non-compliance are detailed on the violation notice and discussed with the director at the conclusion of this inspection.

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-510-B Description: Based on record review and interview it was determined the center did not ensure that a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs was maintained.
Evidence:
1. 1 of 4 children present in the two year old class was signed in.
2. 3 of 4 children present in the toddler class were signed in.
3. Staff confirmed that the sign in sheets were not completed.Plan of Correction: Staff and parents will be reminded to complete the attendance sheet at time of drop off and pick up.
