Standard #: 22VAC40-185-270-A Description: Based on observation, the center did not maintain the building inside in a safe condition.
Evidence:
1. The Inspector observed a pool noodle on the indoor slide which is coming apart presenting a choking hazard.Plan of Correction: The noodle will be replaced today.
Standard #: 63.2(17)-1721.1-B-2 Description: Based on record review and interview, the center did not have fingerprint record checks in the file prior to the 1st day of employment.
Evidence:
1. The inspector reviewed five staff records. Two of five staff records (#2, #3) did not have fingerprint checks completed prior to the first day of employment. They were in the file, but not before the first day of employment.Plan of Correction: The director now knows that the fingerprints checks have to be completed prior to the first day of employment.
