An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 9:40am-11:10am. There were 24 children directly supervised by 4 staff and all classrooms were in ratio. The physical plant, programming, menus, 4 staff records, 6 children's records, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed eating snack which consisted of cereal mix and juice, coloring, practicing writing, singing the alphabet and engaging in center play. Positive interactions between children and staff were observed during this inspection. There was an abundant supply of age appropriate materials for the children and the center was clean and organized. All staff on site are trained in CPR/First Aid, 3 staff are trained in Daily Health Observation and 2 staff are trained in Medication Administration Training. The director advised no medication is on site today. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Evidence: Child #1's last annual review was completed 3/13/17, Child #3's last annual review was completed 8/23/18, Child #4's last annual review was completed 1/24/19, and Child #6's last annual review was completed 8/25/17.Plan of Correction: I will have the parents sign a document to confirm the emergency contact information is up to date.
