A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 03/05/2020 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted between the hours of 8:00 am and 11:00 am. Upon arrival there were about 70 children in care with 15 staff present. A sample of 2 staff and 5 children's records, in addition to 2 medications. Children were observed in learning centers, being read a story and during circle time. Some preschool children were observed finishing breakfast. Infants were observed sleeping in cribs, during tummy time and being fed.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
