An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today between approximately 9:15am and 11:05am. 50 children were directly supervised by 11 staff members at the beginning of the inspection. Ratios remained in compliance throughout. The physical space, 6 children's records, 4 staff records (including newest staff member), injury reports, attendance, evacuation drills and the Emergency Preparedness Plan were reviewed. A sampling of medications were reviewed and in compliance. Children were observed finishing morning snack (oranges, raisin bread and milk), watching a puppet show and playing on the playground. Infant bottles and diaper changing areas were also inspected and in compliance. Age appropriate materials and activities were available throughout each classroom. No violations were cited today.
