A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 03/09/2020 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The inspector arrived at 11:00 AM and departed at 1:00 PM. Six children were in care. Five staff records and a sample size of five children's records were reviewed.
A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-530-4 Description: Based upon review of five staff records, the facility has not ensured that all staff have current certification in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
The facility was unable to provide evidence/documentation of current first aid and CPR certikfication for staf 4 who was employed on 6/18/18.
Plan of Correction: The facility responded with the following:
Documentation of current first aid and C PR certification of staff 4 will be obtained. If it cannot be located, staff 4 will be required to attend another certification training.
