This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A renewal inspection was initiated on 05/11/2020 and concluded on the same day. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 2 children present and 2 staff. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 2 children?s records and 3 staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-130-B Description: Based on record review, one of two files did not contain documentation of additional immunizations once every six months for children under the age of two years.
Evidence:
1) The record for Child #2 (dob 01/18/2016) did not contain a current immunization record. The most recent immunization report available for review was dated 11/15/16.Plan of Correction: I contacted the mother and she will provide the updated record from the doctor and get it to us ASAP.
