This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 06/12/2020. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 0 children present and 2 staff. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 2 children?s records and 2 staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-130-A Description: Based on record review and interview, the center did not ensure that one of two children's records had documentation of immunizations prior to enrollment.
Evidence:
1. Child #1 (DOE: 09/04/2018) had an immunization record dated 09/19/2018.
2. Administration confirmed that the immunization records were received after enrollment.Plan of Correction: We will schedule ourselves to review student immunization and physical expirations monthly to ensure the files stay up to date.
