Discussed all new requirements including allergy procedures, proof of ID, annual training, and sick policy plan. Battery operated Radio needs to be a FM/AM too and not just weather.

An unannounced SHSI inspection has been completed today from 2- 315. There are no children present today but vendor was available to go over paper work, program, and visit of home. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-160-B Description: Based on record review and interview, it was determined the vendor did not maintain a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs. Evidence: 1. The Vendor has a attendance sheet and stated kids have been present since last Monday but there is no attendance record that shows arrival and departure. Plan of Correction: I will write down each day.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-170-B-17 Description: Based on record review of 3 children's files, it was determined the vendor does not have a written statement that the vendor will notify the parent when the child becomes ill and that the parent will arrange to have the child picked up as soon as possible if so requested by the vendor. Plan of Correction: I will make a form and have parents sign it.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-410-A-3 Description: Based on the review of drills, it was determined the vendor did not practice a lockdown drill in the last year. Plan of Correction: I will do one this month and record it on the form you gave me.
